Koursaros Mykonos is located on Meletopoulou Square, in the center of Mykonos town. Although relatively new, it has already gained loyal friends both for the special aesthetics and decoration of the space as well as for its wonderful dishes with fish and seafood.
After a successful 20-year run of their first restaurant in northern suburbs of Athens, the owners of Koursaros Mykonos decided to transfer their experience and brand name to the island of Mykonos. They chose a large inner courtyard in a very convenient location in the heart of Mykonos and assigned the decoration of their new venue to the architects of Nim. The result was amazing and the concept is distinct and original.
Almost everything in Koursaros Mykonos is white and reminds you of the sea and the interior of a boat. Curves are everywhere and the semi-circular sofas on one side represent the bays of the island. On the roof, a white wooden structure that occupies its entire length represents a huge fish backbone that creates a beautiful contrast with the deep blue sky above. In the center of the venue a beautiful olive tree will catch your eye. Hidden lighting in white and bright turquoise colors brings the water element into the yard.
The cuisine of Koursaros Mykonos is based on fresh fish and seafood and includes Greek and Mediterranean recipes as well as sushi and Asian fusion dishes. The wine list is rich and the desserts are delicious. From the main dishes we recommend the grilled fish of the day fillet with asparagus or the shrimp risotto with white truffle oil. If you find it difficult to choose from the huge sushi menu, we recommend the Sashimi Mix with tuna, salmon, yellowtail and white fish.
