Kalita Mykonos operates since 2010 in the blooming garden of the boutique Fresh Hotel at the center of Mykonos town. It is a gourmet restaurant with Mediterranean flavors and a tranquil, private setting where you can enjoy your dinner away from the noisy crowds of the island of Mykonos.
The word “Kalita” means “high society” and expresses the feeling you get when you visit Kalita Mykonos. The decoration is modern, elegant and luxurious. The green shades of the garden blend harmoniously with the whites, grays and the color of the sand used in decoration, while wood and stone give warmth to the space. The discreet lighting, the soft music and the tall walls surrounding the garden ensure a relaxed, quiet dinner.
The chef, Vaios Doutsias, uses imaginatively traditional Greek recipes and creates modern dishes with a very beautiful presentation. Spices, fruits, vegetables and other Greek products are combined to underline the rich flavors of Greek cuisine. The main menu includes handmade pasta, juicy meats, fresh fish and seafood and salads full of aromas. In the wide wine list you will definitely find the right wine to accompany the dishes you choose, and the dessert and cocktail lists offer infinite tasteful suggestions to end your dinner.
Try the handmade gnocchi with Syros wine cream and fresh Greek black truffle or the grouper fillet with mussels and Kozani saffron sauce. As for a dessert, order the baklava millefeuille with Chios mastic ice cream & thyme honey.
Kalita Mykonos operates daily from 7pm to 2am. It would be good to make a reservation as it will be hard to find a table.
