Alemagou Mykonos is situated at the edge of the magnificent Ftelia beach with the golden sand, at the north of Mykonos island and only 12 minutes from Mykonos town. It is an all-day restaurant and beach bar with a pure bohemian character and the necessary luxury that holydays in Mykonos mean.
The different level verandas lead to the beach and host the tables of Alemagou Mykonos. The upper verandas are covered by a natural roof made of reeds and wheat. On the sandy beach in front of the verandas, comfortable sunbeds are located, sun-protected with natural shades as well. Natural materials, the Cycladic architecture and the boho chic style dominate the venue.
Alemagou Mykonos opens in the morning while its kitchen operates from 1 pm noon until midnight. Just beyond the verandas you will see a large military tent, where Maggie, the restaurant’s goat – mascot, is usually walking around. This is Alemagou’s boutique with a collection of summer accessories such as swimsuits, t-shirts, sandals, jewelery and hats, all in a boho style.
The menu of Alemagou Mykonos is based on simple Greek dishes with touches of modern cooking art. Fresh ingredients from local producers and traditional healthy recipes are used to compose a menu that mainly includes fish and seafood, but also has options for meat-lovers. Try the barley with shrimp or the tuna carpaccio with fresh fish sauce.
Alemagou Mykonos has its own little boat, a fully renovated, traditional trechantiri which can accommodate up to 12 people and can be rented for daily cruises to nearby secluded beaches or to visit the island of Rinia.
