Area description
The beautiful seafront villa Avant Garde is located in the north part of the island, in the area of Ftelia bay. Ftelia beach with its picture-perfect golden sand and crystalline blue sea is within walking distance and is a tranquil place for those who seek peace or wish to enjoy the waves, as the frequent winds make it a favorite for windsurfers. It facilitates some hidden bar restaurants such as the famous Alemagou and Ftelia Pacha which are fused with luxurious and tasteful designs.
Alemagou is definitely the kind of boheme spot we have come to expect of the island, but it also offers something new, as it blends the traditional Cycladic shapes and crafts, such as pergola roof and ground-shell lighting with contemporary minimalistic aesthetics. It is an all-day beach restaurant, with midday parties, but also in some cases sunset parties.
In just a 15 min driving distance is the picturesque Mykonos town with the traditional Cycladic houses and the stone-paved alleys inviting you to walk around and explore the hidden beauties.
