Catari restaurant Mykonos is a traditional Italian trattoria in the area of Agia Anna near the Old Port of Mykonos town. It is the only restaurant on the island that has been certified as an authentic Italian eatery by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Right after you pass through the yellow gate of Catari restaurant Mykonos you will feel like you are in another time in another country. Everything around will remind you of the 60’s and the Italian Dolce Vita. The yellow tables in the courtyard are surrounded by huge palm trees and colorful geraniums. Photos of the four famous divas of old Italian cinema – Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale, Gina Lolobritzita, Virna Lisi – and handmade, painted Vietri tiles adorn the courtyard of the old Mykonian mansion that today hosts Catari.
Italian restaurant chefs have prepared a rich menu with authentic Neapolitan dishes such as pizza, pasta and risotto, as well as dishes with meat or fish. Pizza dough is handmade and all ingredients come straight from Italy, with the only exception of Greek olive oil and olives. An excellent list of Italian wines will accompany your dinner. The bar with the high stools is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a delicious signature cocktail. Catari restaurant Mykonos is open daily from 7.00 until 2.30 after midnight.
